my stock XD barrel had scratches like that on the lands and grooves, dont know why, but the EFK is alot beefier and the lands and grooves are deeper and more pronounced.

The lines in the grooves to the left of the pic look like lead fowling not scatches. Nice pic by the way, I haven't been able to get one in that is focus.

I love the Blazer! I used to have a 1978 on 38's. I'm building a 1971 Bronco now. What are the plans for the restoration/buildup?

Probably a axle swap out to 3/4 ton, id like to put 35's under it.. For now, I just want to make it reliable, I put brand new body mount bushings under it, brand new leaf spring bushings all the way around as well as wire brushed the leaf springs and painted them to look brand new.. I want to do all the body work my self and paint it the original orange.. I need new tires but have brand new wheels ready to go on..

No, the truck looks cool! I was talking about the barrel, but if that is oil it's better than lead fouling or scratches.

Yea for sure it was beaded up lube. I saw the same thing after I took the picture, I looked inside the barrel with a flashlight and saw beaded up lube.
