Finally....my finished AR - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

Well I finally was able to finish one of the AR projects I have. Built the lower from a stripped RRA lower with Vltor 5 posi stock, 2 stage trigger and Hogue grip (not on yet). The upper is a RRA entry tactical, 1:9, chrome lined, free floating light weight barrel with quad rail light weight hand guards and a Dominator 2 mount with an Eotech sitting on top.

I’m hoping to get to the range within the next couple days but I’m in the processes of finishing a PCS move so I’m not sure if I’ll get to it. The only bummer is I also got a vertical forward pistol grip but first off it did not come with the required hardware to attach it to the rail and secondly I can’t even get it to slide on the rail to the desire position. Hell I can barely get it started on the slide….regardless I’m stoked!!

Looks good let us know how it shoots. The shotgun looks to be a really nice setup.

So far just playing around in the house I really like the Eotech. Acquisition of targets is very quick and easy. Plus I like that I can acquire targets with the Eotech while keeping both eyes open for better peripheral vision. And with the Dominator Mount I can easily move to the iron sights if the Eotech goes down. I'm going to try and make it to the range today so I'll let you know how is shoots. If not I'll have to wait until I get back up to Pensacola.

Broadside, thats my 870 Pmax with a Knoxx Spec Ops Stock on it. Thats my Castle Doctrine enforcer.

Thanks and unfortunately for my wife....I've just started.

As for the handguards, yes they are standard carbine length. I just finished putting the Hogue grip on it and was able get the forward vertical pistol grip on. I figured out what the problem was...I was being a little bi$ch.

Does the Dominator mount give a true co-witness or is it a lower 1/3 co-witness?
