yay for color options... here is my HD Saiga-12. I have added the Saiga Skeletonized stock and removed the factory sights. I will be getting a red dot sight and receiver rail system soon. I have 5) 10 rnd mags and 1) 5 rnd mag to hold the bad guys at bay until coroner shows up

Question about the Browning with the black and white shell tube. Is there a functional purpose to having the black and white stripes, or is that just your personal preference for color style?

The story behind that extension. I was looking for and extension for my BPS but at the time no commercial makers made an extensions for the BPS (Nordic presently makes a very nice one for the BPS). So I had to make my own to get it ready for 3-gun/mult-gun competition.

I made the extension by using a spare BPS magazine cap, and a Tac-Star extension for a Rem 870. A little machining and a quick brazing job and it worked great. The process of brazing the two parts together burn the finish off them.

I was going to just paint it black but remember how many all black shotguns show up at 3-gun and multi-gun matches so I thought I would make mine stand out on the rack. I looked in my cabinet had a can of white and a can of black. A little masking tape made the strips easy.

In short it was just personal preference and trying to be different. Same goes for the Rem 1100. I did the paint job this winter for fun. The 1100 will be my primary competition shotgun this summer.
