Blue Gun Pics

The wife is nervous about me practicing in the house so I bought an XD "blue gun" to practice my presentation skills--she can't complain about a hunk of solid plastic! The blue gun is a very detailed replica and it feels very similar in terms of weight and balance to the real thing.

Go to www.blueguns.com and click on dealers for a list of authorized dealers. I used Red Diamond Uniform & Police Supply in Ohio (www.reddiamondonline.com). They don't carry the XD in stock, so they called Rings Manufacturing (the maker of blue guns) who made one for me and drop shipped it to me. Whole deal was about $50 including shipping.

I would have worked more on your debating skills.

I dunno. I'm kinda with him on this one. We here enough stories of ND on this and other boards. Why risk you, your family, and neighbors?

A yellow gun would have matched the table better

For comfort, you may want to dremel the grip saftey off of the Blue Gun. It will help ease pain if you use it for dryfire and draw dozen upon dozens of time.

I'm definitely doing that--it didn't take long for it to start bothering me. Kind of a surprising design oversight for something intended for use as a training tool.
