XDs w/ slip-on grips...pix request
i am interested in using this, in particular the pachmayr model 1.
anyone using it? trimming for the grip safety is a little tricky...love to see how you have done yours. thanks. joe |

XD9 service model.
is it ok if i covered the grip safety & just keep it depressed the whole time? i know i will be giving up the 2nd safety feature but i'm ok w/ that. thanks. joe |

This is a Hogue slip-grip on my XD9 Service. I have trimmed it a little more now, in a more rounded-edge to clear the safety even more so.

good point but then again, i never holster my gun w/ a chamber load.
i only shoot at the range & hopefully none for any defensive action. there is nothing mechanically wrong w/ having the grip safety depressed all the time right? BTW, thanks for the pix...the cut will not cause the grip to rip eventually? joe |
