You dont stab, think of it this way, have you ever had someone push on a pressure point with their finger?

Well with this you dont have to hit a pressure point, pretty much any part of their body will do, but by pressing this on the point it creates a "multiplied force". It is excruciatingly painful just about anywhere it is used.

Scenario: a girl is grabbed from behind around the neck,(one of the mor popular ways for rapists and muggers to grab a woman), she inserts the point of the PPT into the crotch of his elbow, and forcefully pushes down and out away from her. Now to test this (more to prove to my daughters it works) I have shown them how to do it and allowed them to use it on me...even my 11 year old daughter could exert enough force to hurt me and force me to let go.

But there is also a whole series of strikes, and incapacitating applications. There are probably 25 locations that a mild force strike will inhibit movement of one or more joints, and or extremeties. An example is a solid strike up into the armpit can disrupt the radial nerve stem causing temporary "paralysis" of the arm. Its more like if your arm falls asleep and its very hard to move. A strike to the supersternal notch (the "V" just below your adams apple), can cause severe difficulty breathing, buying you time to get away, draw your gun, or whatever the situation demands.
My wife and daughters all carry one, and are all trained to use it effectively.

Here is the real kicker, I have carried it into court rooms, federal buildings, and on airplanes. Technically it is not a weapon. It look completely benign, and no one really gives it a secod thought.

But put me on a plane with that against terrorists with box cutters, and you find terrorists begging for help.

Excellent idea for women who need something to protect themselves quickly.
Where can one buy one of those? Did you order yours online, or did you find it in a store?

I have the D314 model.
The main difference, if a cop catches you with that he can charge you with a concealed weapon. If you use that, a court can find you guilty of assault with a dangerous weapon. The PPT is not a weapon, and has been designed specifically to circumvent 99% of laws that describe weapons for that reason.
