Not sure if that is the one I got - but I got one that looked almost like that, if not exactly like it, off of Ebay in early Dec.
Got it for my PS90. The PS90 doesn't have much recoil, and I heard positive things about them from other PS90 owners. Heard mixed things about them on AR's - as the AR has more recoil and can cause problems. On a handgun, I would be worried how it will hold up to the recoil. I sold mine after a couple of weeks. It is GREAT for outdoor shooting, and is easily visible at over 100 yards in the DAY time. And, at night, I shined it on the furthest object I could see at my house - probably 800 yards away. It supposedly is visible over a mile. The problem is that w/i some home distances (like a room), it hurt my eyes just to look at the dot on the wall. It also totally lights up a dark room,a nd U can see the beam in the dark. Kinda gives away your position, and I really don't think the thingw as safe (the one I had, at least). I did some checking online, and it seems that some of the ones on Ebay are really more powerful than they are supposed to be. With it being so bright that my eyes hurt looking at it up close, I ended up selling it to someone else. I thought the "green laser" would be cool, buT I really wanted it to set on my PS90 for household defense distances. It wasn't usuable for that. And, w/ my flashlight already attached, I didn't have room for a red AND a green laser. So, I bought a red laser which works perfect for what I wanted, and I sold the green laser. Had I had room for both, I MIGHT have kept it and set it for 100 yard shots. I really wonder what use that will be on a handgun - if yours is as bright as mine was. Be very careful w/ your eyes. The one I had was a danger even if you DIDN'T shine it directly into someone's eyes. |
