EMP not so small
I just got the EMP a few weeks back and to my surprise it's not as small as I had originally thought. My slim hawg is actually smaller and it's chambered in .45. It also only holds 2 less rounds than the 9mm EMP.
I just thought others would like to see the comparison. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thanks for posting the pics. They graphically illustrate the true size of this gun. It's definitely not a pocket pistol.

As you can see the only real difference is the handle length. The extended mag makes it longer as well. They don't offer, as far as I know, a flush mag for the EMP. I don't really think the extended mag is necessary because the handle is long enough for most anyone. They should at least offer a flush one for concealed carry purposes

The flush mag would be a hair short for me. Thing I love the most about the EMP is the grip it fits me perfect. I carry the original Warthog as my primary carry gun and I do love it but it is a bit fat.

I believe in time I'll end up prefering the EMP because it's 5 oz lighter. The slim hawg can be a little heavy at times, especially when concealing for long periods. And the grip is a lot better for my hands. The slim hawg does come with an extended mag that makes it better though. To tell the truth it took about 300 rounds for my slim hawg to start becoming highly accurate, but the EMP was dead on target with the very first clip and it will only get better with time. There's also a lot less recoil with the EMP also. I guess it really depends on how I'm feeling that day. If I feel like .45 power then I'll carry the slim hawg, but if I want to go with comfort and ease of shooting I'll go with the EMP. It's a really tough call. But... if it had to come down to it, I guess I would recommend the EMP first. It just has too many good things going on
