Pic request:XD service & USPc

I would like to see some comparison picks of a xd9 and a USP compact.

I have been thinking getting another mid-sized 9mm for my wife to use and for me to carry on occasion. a buddy of mine is trying to sell me his barely used usp compact 9mm for a decent price.

I have been thinking about getting an xd for a while and if I don't get the usp I will get the xd at a gun show next weekend.

I'm torn because I love HKs and I already have a p2000 that can share mags and holsters with the USP.

On the other hand I like XDs also and my wife doesn't like DA/SA.

I hate subcompacts so I am trying to stick with 'mid-sized' weapons. I hate Glocks so no G19s either.

Anywho, what I'm trying to see is how much bigger the XD service is compared to a USPc. I'm sure some of you people on both so if you wouldn't mind posting some comparison picks I would be much obliged.

Thanks

Thanks Palmguy. That's exactly what I needed. The grip on the XD looks a little longer but not long enough to make a difference when I carry.

Good news also, my friend said that he would wait a couple of weeks to sell the USP to me. So this weekend I will go pick up a new XD and then, when I get the cash I'll go pick up the USP!

mo gunz 4 me make me

Was that question directed towards me or Palmguy?

Anyway,

I can pretty much shoot one as well as I can the other. If I had to choose one I would probably go with HK just because I've been shooting them for a long time. If I spent more range time with the XD I would probably shoot them better. I am one of those people that have a variety of guns and shoot them all well. Except for Glocks, I never could shoot straight with a Glock for some reason. As of late I have been in love with my PX4 9mm. The PX4 is a real sweet shooter. I know that might be blasphemy around here but I love Berettas.

Actually I have a confession to make also. I had a XD9 bi-tone that I sold to fund a USP 45 tactical. As soon as I sold it my wife said that she wished I hadn't because she liked that one. The more I thought about it the more I wish I wouldn't have gotten rid of it. But at least now I have my USP 45 tactical and I can redeem myself by geting another XD.
