Since there is an AR15 picture thread, I thought I'd start an AK-47 picture thread. Here is my WASR10

It's not the prettiest AK to look at, but it shoots!

Here is my Egyptian Maadi. If it looks hazy, it is because I keep it stored fairly oily.

Bulgie 'franken Aks 74' with German bakelite lower HG, Rommy upper and PG and Polish mag....

in order top to bottom(all kit builds by me):

Real Russian under folder AK 47
Hungarian AMD 65 on a FEG receiver
Bulgarian AK 74
Yugo AK 47 underfolder
A 'Krinked' Mak 90
Bulgarian AK 74 SU

I have 12 more parts kits waiting to be built. My goal is to finally complete my German 'shortened' MPi-AKS-74N. I'm waiting on the rear sight leaf and gas block/front sight from Germany now.....the only thing not German will be the receiver, but hey- I'm going to use a flat and I do have the 'Blut vom Vaterland in meinem viens'.........

Those 2 are very nice! I love the green .223 and the blonde furniture on the underfolder. I almost went with the green Kvar set for my .223 here.

I'll take better pics this weekend, but here's my AK:

I still have the wood furniture if I want to sell it, but I love not having to worry about scratching the polymer furniture!
