My fiancee freakin' loves it, too. Cobalt blue is her favorite color. i'll tell you because I wouldn't want your head to explode. I couldn't live w/ the guilt.

Richard Dettelhouser at Canyon Creek did the blue slide and silver parts for me for $100. It's KG Gun-Kote.

Dave thanks for the advise for the inlay. Posted some pics in another thread today in photo gallery before the inlay. I just pasted the info you sent to me in a PM the other day on to someone else. You may get more questions about it.

Thanks Dave, you surely saved my head from certain spontaneous combustion... I shall certainly look into those links, and hope that you won't feel bad if I show up one day with a twin subbie.

Actually, it would be a triplet, since mine is the twin to R/T Performance's original.

Lot of nice lookin' guns guys! Quick question for you guys who own more than one XD. Other than the length, is the slide on the different XDs close or the same size? For example, how much difference between a 9mm sc slide and an 45 service slide (again, other than the obvious length)? What frame width differences if any?

Very minor differences that are not even really noticable.

I can take a picture at any angle if you would like.
