Talking I Love My Job....240G, Mark-19 and M2 .50 pics

I'd just like to say that I love my job.

Getting a little refresher on the Mark-19 before hitting the firing line.

Many 40mm rounds later

Next up the M240G

The highlight of the day the M2 .50 cal

Got a upclose view and hands on with the TOW and then my roommate on the SMAW.

All in all a great freakin day...

I've got some great video footage of me on the M2 and Mark-19 and a CAT assault featuring AT4s, a M240G squad, humvee mounted Mark-19 and M2, and TOW but don't know where I can upload some quicktime movies on the web. Any help?

As for the Mk-19 is pretty fun to shoot. What makes it great is that the 40mm round is pretty damn big and you actually see "death" flying through the air for a little bit, it disappears and then shorty after that you see the impact on the target.

The 240G packs some punch. I'm the M249 SAW gunner when we conduct field exercises and the 240 def has more thump to it with the 7.62mm round.

As for the files, the shorter ones with me on the M2 and Mk-19 are between 5-8 mb and the CAT assault is two vids that are around 30 mb each.

For those that like firepower, there is always the M198

This was a month or so ago but it was another good day paid for by Uncle Sam. After running a couple calls for fire we took 7-tons to the firing line and with the help of the Marines, worked the gun line.
