LoL, after all this talk about slip on grips. (Which I had on my gun all of one day) I decided to try out my gunsmith's stippling since I was going there for something else. My xd is carried appendix IWB, so I opted to not do the sides, but aggressive on the front and back strap. Thing is glued to my hand now, haha.

That might be the best looking stippling I've seen yet. I like how the pattern is....not. The heights are different, the directions are different. The standard XD pattern is so repetative, all in the same rows, direction and height.

Heres a couple pics of my twin 45's. I bead blasted and dura-coated the slides and levers. Looking for a shoulder rig for them, probably going to order the Miami Classic II galco rig once its back in stock, unless others have a better choice?
Does anyone know if SA has the standard poly holster in a left hand? ***EDIT Just got off the phone with Springfield. I was asking about a Left handed holster and they do make them. (This is probably old news, but is new to me). Springfirld is sending me a FREE left handed paddle holster, not even charging me for shipping. All I had to do is give them the serial number of the firearm. Like I said, probably not new news, but worth mentioning here in case someone else is looking for one.

Carry both of these on duty....obviously not at the same time..lol! I like that my holsters and mag cases fit both guns.
