IIRC 1G DSM was 195 hp stock and almost 122 cu. Of course it was built in the USA.

Mid 12's is not bad for any car. Of course if it is a daily driver it is more fun. Snowed a couple inches here the other day. No problem -AWD with Torsen & limited slip diffs.

I worked with a guy who bought a Chevelle when they first came out with the 454 Cowl Induction. He could burn some rubber and those Firestone tires didn't last very long. I doubt he got 30 mpg highway though.

I can only afford one car, so I got one that can be good at a lot of things - drag race, road race, snow, rain and decent mpg. Reliability - 172,000 miles on the original motor.

Guess I can't sell it now (grins at Erron).

Nice looking Mustang. New Mustangs are too heavy. It seems they can't build a car that weighs less than 3000 lbs anymore.

I doubt you do any road racing or autox with it. Have you upgraded the brakes at all?

Here's what's in my drive way.

Here's goofing on a ramp

This is after we did our public service of removing abandoned cars for the forest service.

After pulling 3 abandoned cars out and one of them was about 160' off the trail down the mountain we had to play on them.

I never understand why people try to pretty-up a vehicle clearly designed for real work.
