i was basing my estimates using your stated theory that basic bolt ons add 75 crank horsepower to a claimed 300 horse power car. in which case my highly modified engine would make 400+ crank horsepower...but i guess you didnt catch my sarcasm earlier.

id be lucky if i was making 300whp...so would the STi on the last page.

Holy cross forum posting Batman, I thought I recognized that Dodge camper from somewhere. I wander through Pirate4X4 on occasion. Nice HK EBR BTW .

It's based on the gains from a Mustang dynometer. And yeah those were simple bolt-ons but it also has a custom dyno tune from MZM Performance. I'm not claiming 300 awhp, but I think the 375 hp estimate at crank is about right.

EDIT: Here are my results from my dyno runs. Please note that the readings are low because the Mustang dyno at MZM is used specifically for tuning and is appropriately named "the heartbreaker" by other enthusiasts.

The average stock 2005 STi on MZM's Mustang Dyno:
  • 190 whp
  • 190 wtq
My baseline run with CAI, TBE, and Fuel Pump:
  • 210.6 whp @ 6000 RPM
  • 217.3 wtq @ 4000 RPM
My final run with ECUTek custom tune @ 19 psi:
  • 239.4 whp @ 5500 RPM
  • 261.0 wtq @ 3750 RPM

Stating crank hp is useless so dont mention it.

Nacho those are some low numbers. Stock STis should be over 200whp.

My Spec-V dyno'd at 259whp and 265 wtq with 8psi. Thats a 2.5L with a T3/T4 turbo.
