Kept blowing the MAF sensor since it was drawthrough. I brought a GReddy Type-S BOV and piping to convert to blowthrough but I just got tired of not having traction through the first 3 gears. I sold the turbo kit and then traded the car in once it broke down on me coming home from work. I do miss it though.

Funny, that's what I had before this one, a white 98 Tacoma Limited TRD. That thing was insane off-road with the rear locker. It was too slow with the auto and 190HP though...and the x-cab was like a Chinese torture chamber...but good for in-laws, lol.

Gfen,

That's a great picture of your Volkswagen in front of those old blast furnaces. Where are they located?

Bethlehem, PA. Former home of Bethlehem Steel. That's part of the decaying remains of what was an amazing place. When I was a little kid, it was half the town, and that was already after it had started its downward slide..Before I was born, it was the town. Everyone either worked there, or was a direct relation to someone who was. The factory and its associated industries stretched across everything.

Now, its some decaying brownfields in the depressed southside that they're trying to convert into a casino. Sad.

Here.
