I think one of the really cool things about the G.I. series is that it's very close to the issue gun for service members in W.W. II (or so I was reading). I don't think I want to change too much for that reason. It's a nice conversation peice.

The trigger is a bit rough right now, but I'll focus more on that after I get 500+ more rounds down the tube. If it's still tight I'll send it in to have that adjusted, but I think that'll be it.

Right - except for the whole stainless thing...

Kidding man, very nice. I just picked a parkerized GI and I like it a lot. Do you think the GI grips would be a Karma anyone would be interested in? I've already changed them out.

You can still buy handguns at Wallyworld in Alaska? The ones around here in NewYorkistan barely want to carry handgun ammo. I can deal with the Upstate winters, not so sure about 6 months of darkness. Decisions decisions...

Oh yeah we are also a Machine gun state. I see the nutjobs out every now and then with their MAC-10's and UZIs.

I think the SS MilSpec is a great value.

I can appreciate your desire to leave it essentially stock.

In my case I decided the MilSpec was the perfect base gun for custom work.. so, if you take the base gun and add a couple of mortgage payments to it.. it looks like this.
