I got it for $900 NO TAX from a friend with $1000+ in accessories/etc. Good deal, so I couldn't pass it up.

That's exactly my setup. EOTech 551 (F series/N batt) with Aimpoint 3X magnifier on a S&W MP15T (other goodies). I'n my first outing/competition I place 7th, on a stage.

Guys, the EOTech and magnifier seem like alot of optics on those M4 type AR's, do they work well together? I'm not being negetive on your setups, just curious how they work as I just picked up my first AR not too long ago. I'm still getting used to shooting with just iron sights, so the optics are new to me.

It's awesome. Here's a few picks:

result with Surplus ammo unsupported, standing, rapid fire at 100 yards.
