Old girl..... New make up!

This is a discussion on Old girl..... New make up! within the Photo Gallery forums, part of the Use and Training category; ok....that is all wonderful and all. But why did you do that on a wooden table with just foil under that mess?? I sure do ...

ok....that is all wonderful and all. But why did you do that on a wooden table with just foil under that mess?? I sure do hole that the only finish that got removed was the intended finish. wow...

When did 7 years become old for an 870

The refinish looks good.

Great job, looks wonderful. You've inspired me to rework the furniture on a couple of my old shotguns (old in this case means 36 years of quail and duck/goose hunting).

Thank you! It only took me a couple days to do that, I work nights and she works days. During the day I take care of our 2 year old, I get tired of Spongebob. So I find stuff to do, that is my first ever.

Actually, the stripper I used is very mild and needs to sit a minimum of 45 minutes to remove any finish. Any slop, just wipe it up and no worries. I live in the city with no garage, or even a porch, so I make do with what I have available. I guess it's a good thing I did it on my table and not yours huh?

Thank you! Im 27 years old and dont have any really old guns, or family heirlooms... This is the oldest one I have, so to me... its old
