Logo/Wax Seal Stamp
Hi All
I want to use the likeness of my XD, coupled with 2nd Amendment reference, in a wax seal. Best is to keep the imagery relatively simple and uncomplicated, black and white, line art-type deal, and I'm looking for suggestions and ideas.
Once I get this thing made, I believe the design would also be available for anybody to purchase from the folks in the UK who make them.
So far, I just have an XD silhouette and II on it; that's about it... Open to other suggestions (bear in mind, it'll only be about 3/4" across, so, simple is good).

Sounds awesome! I'm no lawyer, but beware of that copywrite stuff, however.

Yep, I thought about the copyright infringement potential... I think, if I turn it into a generic silhouette, and don't display it as "this is an XD", I should be safe, in that regard... I'm hoping that I can do the pistol, along with 2A or IIA, superimposed above a waving US flag, but, I don't know if the laser engraving used for the seals is depth-controlled by shade, or if it is purely a one-depth deal... Hoping to get an answer on that, so I can move forward...

You might look for a lapel pin of an XD If the detail is right you could use it as a starter piece.
I have seen pins made of the Glock pistols.

Custom wax seal
Hi there
I noticed your post about a custom logo wax seal stamp, I run my company in the UK making wax seal stamps, we have our own laser engraving machine. We can guaranteed that if you supply us with your company logo to engrave, we would certainly never put this on our website without your permission, if you are interested in knowing more about our company the website is customwaxnseals.com
Shipping seals across to the USA is never a problem, as postal charges for such a small item are relatively cheap (around £9.50 for a small seal), we can also despatch within 48 hours for rush orders. All our seals are made in the UK from UK materials and laser engraved on our own premises.
I hope I have been of some assistance
Jackie
