They are battery station CR123A's , but I am switching over to rechargables soon, im going to get protected 2X17500 along with a A19 battery extension, p90 and a p91 lamp, maybe a KT2 as well. I think I will be hitting around 200 lumens, not bad for a small flashlight like this 6P cant wait to take it camping..

If you hit around 200 lumens you will be impressed. I have a cabelas light.. it's built like a surefire. Same size and all. Anyway I purchased the performance head for it which jumped it from I believe 180 lumen, to 240. It's really bright now! It's a 12 v light. uses 4 CR123A batteries. I only wish I could get that brightness out of a 2 cell light that could fit in your pocket! But, 240 lumens out of a light that is WAY smaller than any D cell maglight is good enough for me! And the best thing is, I have a surefire quality light (if you ask me), all for the price of $90. That's including the high performance head.

Ilove my 6p especially with the p91 lamp.

You can never have too many guns or too many flashlights.

Whats the run time on it? 240 lumens? WOW, thats alot of light

Anyone that has a 6P should really try out this lamp http://www.digilightusa.com/Catalog/...ail.asp?pid=25

I think it's around 150-175 lumens but this is the selling point, IT'S RUN TIME IS 60+ MINS!!! So your getting a lamp thats alsmost equal to a p91 but way more run time. (the P91 is only 20 mins run time)

Be sure you get the newer version though. If you buy straight from digilight you are more then likely going to get the newer version.

(You will need to have a A19 extension to run this lamp) The a19 extension will let you run three CR123A batteries instead of 2 giving you a 9V. There are two versions (A19/MC123) either one will work great..
