I almost got a T/C but went for a 10/22 instead long time ago. I like T/Cs too. I want to build up a varmint rifle one day. As far as the 700 goes I have a 26" barreled AR match rifle that would not fit in the picture, she is the best of my kids.

Wow! I have a "stock" 10/22. I've looked at a bunch of mods. for that rifle, but I've never seen one like yours. That beauty is beyond the "bells and whistles" program.......

Simple and just the right price. I have a dealer friend and he sold me the complete receiver, new stock and barrel for 480$. So check around some more it is not that expensive to do.

Our ARs and 10/22 ( I have the same stock) are almost twins.

G17, G23(I also have a G19 slide and barrel to shoot 9mm), SIG p226 p229, Only one XD40(daily carry gun winter) sorry, Kimber 1911, Para Frame w/ Caspian slide, FEG high power w/ the detective kit, a Kimber RCPII, 1969 Vega 1911 frame dedicated Marvel 22(one w/scope), Kahr PM40, and P45(daily carry gun summer, BUG winter). The AR is home built from a stripped upper and lower, It has a White Oak Armament 16" 1-7 twist semi HBar, Yankee Hill machine lightweight forearm kit(hides gas block), YHM front sight, and an ARMS 40 rear sight, Jewel trigger set at 1 lb take up and 2 lb break. The Glass on the AR is a Compact Burris 3-9X32 with a large range of eye relief(I can have the stock extended all the way or collapsed). The 10/22 Has a Tactical Solutions Barrel, Revival Industries Yukan Extreme Stock, A crappy BSA scope(I have not decided what to put on it yet) and a Volquartsen hammer.
