Thanks guys! I knew when I originally seen that the Springfield Combat come out a few years back that I had to have it. I found this one in a forum selling not far from me and grabbed the keys and went and got it. The seller had a can't refuse price. Darn good shooter to boot. The Colt, I haven't had the chance to fire the first round and really don't know that I will. I'm thinking 10 years down the road it wll become somewhat of a collector in a unfired state. Once i fire the first round then it becomes just like any other 100 year 1911 out there.
