Savage 17HMR, Mueller and the XD-9

Well I took some pictures today of my scope and figured I'd take a couple of the gun I put on it also.

The gun is a Savage 17HMR left handed bolt, my poor XD-9 is propping it up haha. :P. I got this gun last April and having said that, its in almost new condition.

Detailed picture of the scope. Its a Muller Tactical 4-16x50 Illuminated MilDot Reticle scope. It has adjustable parallax settings also.

Here is my carry setup, took the gun off since this is HS2000 anyway . Anyway, just an XD-9, left handed Blade Tech UHC holster, Wilderness Frequent Flyer belt.

Nice pics. I have a question for you... left handed, blessing or curse? My mom and sister are lefty's where my dad and I are righty's. Just wondering your take on it.

Still trying to figure that one out myself . For guns, its more of a curse, as everything is special order and expensive. This Savage wasnt any more than the others,
however go to AR's and it does get more expensive.

Holsters cost the same, just that when you order them, they take forever since they are special order. However the firearms industry has been making special strides
in helping us lefties out with ambidextrous guns.

Here is the upper of my AR-15 thats a left handed gun, its Stag Arms, cost about 50 more than a standard AR.

Some guns, I just really can't shoot because there are no left handed versions and I get blasted with gas and lead in the face.
