Just purchased a Springfield 1911-A1 full size model. It has tritium night sites, parkerized finish, and came with 2 combat wilson mags and a black widow holster. It also has a custom trigger job and damn it feels good. Enjoy the pics, their not that great, but I had fun taking them nonetheless.

I have the same knife as you! It's a nice one too, I carry it evey day along with my XD .40 compact.

How did yyou paint the letters on your XD? What kind of paint did you use and where could I find it?

the lettering can be done "temporarily" by using a Crayola Crayon. For a more professional and permanent setup you'd use a lacquer-stik.

There are a few "colored inlay" threads floating around somewhere... do a forum search for "Crayon" or "White lettering" or something like that.

I did one of my XDs in silver lacquer stik (to match the silver parts, although the bad pic makes it look like white):
