Thanks. I don't baby my guns, they are tools, but I do take the time to clean them after each range day. Cleaning == spray them down with mpro7, blast it out with compressed air, spray down with break free clp, blast out with compressed air. Never done anything more, and the gun functions *better* than new! ~10 minutes total to field strip/clean after a range day, and 10 minutes WELL worth it.

Also, I poked the pins inwards, they seem to be *4* pins, not two long ones, uhg. Bad design.

Really? Hmmm...when I had an M&P, I removed it, and it fit perfectly, but I wasn't using the "P" attachment, I used the "U" attachment. I'll try it tomorrow.

Or poor lighting, but its really been pissing me off lately. Nothing comes out good.

If you can stand another hint on taking pictures you might also try experimenting with your 2 second timer - if you have one. By delaying the actual shutter release for a couple of seconds after you press the button you'll have a steadier camera. The physical act of pressing the switch actually moves the camera enough to blur the picture. Using the timer can help reduce camera motion. Blur notwithstanding you got your point across...I love the sights.

That last picture actually hurts my eyes, I can't imagine how disorienting that would be if I were a BG trying to invade your space.

I just bought my new XD-9 a day ago...I had been using a loaner for about 3 weeks to get my ccw, and I just fell in love. Couldn't pass up a great deal on it. Got it with 3 16 rnd mags and a pack of hydra-shocks.
I cut out the foam in the box for the extra mag, and popped holes in there to hold the hollow points...I hate carrying an extra box just for those.

Any luck? I think I was using the U attachment on mine, I'll have to check when I get home.

After having shone it in my eyes on accident a few times, I can tell you - QUITE. It's bright enough to make you flash-blind for about 30 seconds during daylight, and at night, it'll leave blind spots for 1 minute or more, depending on how long the light lingered at your eyes.

Only the universal mount works. I'm using the "Rail Lock" version. It's pretty straight now:
