XD Compact .45 w/ Tru Glos...and pics
My camera batteries died about a week ago. Finally got some new ones and figured I'd snap some shots.
Got the Tru Glo yellow/green sights from Gilberts Guns. Much cheaper than the local gun shop. So that was nice.
And the local shop installed them for $35 flat, and it took them about 20 minutes. There arent any noticeable marks on the slide or the sights, which was also neat. I figured they might put a little mark somewhere on it.
Also, I was part of the trigger kit group buy. You can't see that, but its there, lol, and awesome. I'm usually able to capture half decent shots, but it was hard to get really good lighting, and none of the pics really set off the sights. At night, with the lights off they are plenty bright for me. I love'm.

Looks like the X300 is jammed on the rail as it seems to be pointing upward and isn't sitting flush???

Think I pointed out in a post above that I'm still adjusting it. It has an angle adjustment on the back, that locks it into place. With the adjustable rails, you can adjust the angle. It's a bit too high for me right now, but not by much - at about 7 yds the beam angle is about 6" too high. I'll adjust it level, and see if that works next.

Hey there...I've got them on mine and I LOVE them. When dimly lit, they're amazing and just what someone would need in a "someone broke into the house" situation.
By the way....see if on that camera...there's a button with an icon of a 'flower' on it...if so, that's the button you press when taking photos of things VERY close up (like a flower, or in this case, your sights)...I bet it would take the photos clear as day if you pressed that.

Nice sights!
As to the "flower", it amazes me, to this day, that nobody knows what macro mode is. I'm glad there's at least one other person on the forum who's heard of it!

Oh yeah, its on 'flower' mode for those shots. Some reason it doesnt always want to focus on the stuff I want to focus on. Prolly due to background junk.
Or poor lighting, but its really been pissing me off lately. Nothing comes out good.

Still gets the point across, those sights are highly visible.
