Specialized FSR- looks like this one:

My wife's- Proflex Animal, looks like this one (but is a green frame)

Our problem is goatheads popping our tires here in NM. Suggestions?

I am not sure what a goathead is-unless it is a goathead?

What about going to tubelless? Then if you get a flat its a burp flat nd you can just top off the air.

Kevlar liner between tire and tube. Stay away from slime tubes, you or your mechanic will thank you if/when they have to work on it.

Slime is evil. I think i'm gonna start billing extra for people bringing bikes (dirtbikes) and quads with that crap in it. It takes me longer to clean the mess than it does to change the tires by far

She's in the garage for the Winter so I don't have any pics at the moment but she's a 2010 Specialized Rockhopper comp. Best bike I've ever owned hands down. She looks just like this one.

Hey I have that same exact FSR. It's been a hell of a bike for many many years. I need to either change the back shock for something with a lockout (this bike po-go's like nobody's business) or trade the bike in for a hard tail. I just can't climb like I want.
