Shined the striker locking plate on my XD9SC

I also ordered a red striker spring guide from the XD Guys. I wish someone made aftermarket striker locking plates for the XDs like they do for the Glocks.

What is wrong with the stock one?
I think your polished plate looks nice..
You could always have it refinished in any color you want..
I had mine hardchromed with the rest of the XD9sc..

There isn't anything wrong with the stock one, I just like to be different and personalize it.

You can either DIY or find a refinisher to make it any color you want..
I know Todd at http://customizedcreationz.com/ does cerakote in many colors.
http://customizedcreationz.com/servi...finishing.html
He also does engraving.

He is working on my Kimber as I type right now..
Should have it back in a few weeks.

I'd never criticize you for personalizing your firearms.
I only have 2 that are stock.
One of those is going in for a slide refinsh in a few months...

Any word on your Kimber, or have you gotten it back yet? I would love to see some pics.
