Man, I have had this three years already (not bragging) and I still love the way it feels to me. My favorite gun ever!
Other than an ammo malfunction it has never failed. Nothing has ever broken on it in this time. Accurate and just fun to shoot.
Here is a couple of pics of it (yes, it needs cleaning - leather and Florida sand dust on it)

You always do photo shoots with a round chambered and your gun cocked?

What difference does it make if its loaded? hes in control of the firearm and it is not pointed in a dangerous direction.

Not usually no. I did these two quickies that way because it went right back in the holster afterward.
I also live alone, in a secluded area with no next door neighbors and no one else in the house. I also was careful, you see, not to duct tape the grip safety and nothing in the trigger guard area. Just as safe as drawing it from the holster I'd say.

Thank you! It actually was pointed "down range". That was my stove acting as a photo table
The only thing in danger would have been my fridge directly to the right (not in photo)

The difference between a loaded gun and an unloaded gun is : A loaded gun can fire a bullet.
I like how two fingers and a thumb is " in control of the gun" in your eyes .
How did you know it was pointed in a safe direction from those pics before he explained it was ?

My XD40SC is ALWAYS chambered and cocked but I think if I was taking quick pictures of it, I would unload it, IMO

Guns dont fire themselves. He had control of the firearm. You have never had a firearm loaded on a table with you in the room? i take my holster off sometimes when in my office and place it on my desk is that a dangerous situation? its laying on a surface with no finger on the trigger that is safe to me. I am a stickler for safety there is no such thing as a accidental discharge. What this person did was fine. by your logic you should always have a gun unloaded.
