I've carried mine daily for a year now but I don't have ANY scratches/wear on it...my cheap Kholster does a nice job of protecting it.

I bought this one new and have carried it almost everyday since in a Crossbreed Supertuck. The left side of the gun only has holster wear in one spot (where it rubs across the leather). This is the side touching the Kydex so it has a bit more wear.

Less than a week old and 54 rounds through it. Currently getting by with the holster from the XD Essentials kit, while I make up my mind between a Crossbreed SuperTuck and a Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC (no making fun of my lack of photography chops)...

Not doing anything special, really. Knolster leather is very soft and flexible and helps with scratches/wear. I carry day in/day out and (knock on wood) the finish is still pristine. I love my xd

Nice to see some being used as tools and not safe queens!
