Just finished my 10/22 Zombies beware...

Just finished this build today, need something lightweight to get ready for the hoards of undead. Tell me what you think.

It started with this...

Ended up like this...

Parts breakdown.....
1975 Ruger 10/22 receiver Hard anodized matte black..
16.5in Wistlepig threaded barrel, Originally silver was coated in Molyresin by Myk9noseknows whos a member here.
Hogue Black overmold stock.
Hornet Custom Target trigger with 2lb pull.
Tactical Solutions extended mag release.
Kid CNC Bolt with firing pin and extractor
Kid Bolt Buffer
Competition extended charging handle
Hornet stainless receiver pins
Dednutz medium scope mount
Barska 3-12x Tactical scope
And last i think
Blackhawk cheek pad

Now all i have to do it test its reliability...

It was a cheap UTG bipod but it seems to be very well mad. Works fine for this application. it was like 25 bucks.

thats a pretty sweet squirrel killer...how much did all that set you back if you dont mind? Best i've done to my 10/22 was polish the internals, and get a scope and bigger mag for it.

Cost hmm let me think.
Receiver i had but say 200 for one
barrel was like 230
bolt 110
charging handle 25
bolt buffer 6.00
trigger about 150.00
Receiver pins like 12.00
stock 65.00
checkpad 25.00
bipod 25.00
scope 155.00
scope rings 45.00
mag release 40.00
anodize revceiver and paint barrel 100.00

For a total of $1188.00

It can be done for cheaper, but i always end up spending to much.

Nope 22 is what you want for a zombie. Only head shots work so a 22lr is perfect light carry tons of ammo can shoot multiple targets fast. But just in case my new ar build will be done soon. Will post that when its done.
