Truck Tool box - What's in yours?

So, I scoured the forum listing to see where to post this, this seemed about the closest location as any.

I finally got around to getting a tool box for the bed of my truck. Has the dividers and storage trays, all that stuff. Well, it got me to thinking about what all I wanted to load in there. Nothing too expensive of course.

So now, it has all of my loading straps, bungee cords, first aide kit, some para cord, SOG Hatchet, toolbox with various tools, ammo cans with my Mojo Dove Decoys.

Other than that, I was curious what other people loaded in theirs. Mine is black so it will match with my truck better, so is heat an issue for anyone?

I keep an extra quart of oil, ATF and anti-freeze. Duct tape, bungee cords and misc tools.

I would recommend throwing in a hydraulic floor jack and maybe one or two of those folding camping chairs. You never know when they will come in handy.

I always carry a blanket or two, a snow shovel, tow strap, and chain in the winter. Usually have a gallon or two of gas and jumper cables. Small set of tools and in the summer time an extra fishing pole and tackle just in case I break down somewhere near a fishing hole.

mine is generally empty because I use it too much when I am out and about.

I throw the rifles in it when I go to the range. I put the stuff I buy in it when I am out at stores. it saves room in the cab and more secure than just tossing stuff in the bed.

Of course TP. I keep several rolls in the truck. I also keep a few bottles of water under the seat, just in case.

I dont have one but here are the reasons im thinking about it to keep the backseat area and the bed a bit neater.

My different size ball hitches. I have things i pull with 1-7/8, 2, and 2-5/16. I hate always having them lay in the bed.

Ratchet straps and bungees. I usually have a couple straps in the bed and a bunch more in the cab. Now the ones in the bed are frozen and the cab is just a mess.

Jumper cables-all wrapped up around said tie straps in cab from above

When i pull my camper i carry a bottle jack, 3 way iron, jack stands, would be nice just to have all those with me all the time.

Normally a small block of wood and wheel chock in bed of truck in case i need to park a trailer.

During the summer i usually have a couple sand bags in the cab for those impromptu groundhog hunts.

Chain, shackle, and tow strap...you never know!

Man, i think i just convinced myself that i need a box for sure! Darn you guys.
