Interesting. However under high noise environments anything involving hearing is suspect and MUST be expected to fail. Having worked in riot control situations visual signals are almsot always superior to anything needed hearing in close quarters operations.

That being said I would give it a try but it must work 100% under worst case scenarios or it is discarded.
