they weren't on sale, but I saw 3 of them in a sporting goods store while looking for boots.

picked mine up from a friend yesterday that collects them, 1921 Izhevsk M91. been looking for about 6 months for a decent one. the local importer doesnt have much in stock other than $800 snipers and $200 91/30s with the round receiver

Put a "want to buy" note up on nearly any gun forum.

There are about a gazillion Mosins in gun safes all over the USA and millions more packed in grease in various arms depots across Eastern Europe, they may, or may not, make their way over here eventually.

my lgs just ordered 2 91/30s and 2 m44s said his distributor has a bunch of em in stock.
I took home a tula m 44
