One of the SIG 552's. I need a little .22 rimfire training for the 556R.

I'm looking into saving up and getting an IWI Tavor or a Springfield M1A later on this year.

Shot four 17-round mags through the 9MM on Saturday - scha-weet!
And . . . just got back from buying a M&P 15-22, found a pair at a fairly decent price at an Academy store here in Houston. I bought one and an employee of mine bought the other. I've now got everything I'd been hunting for, except that I'm always hunting for more ammo . . . aren't we all!

I'm joining this thread just because I'm planning on buying one rifle this year. I'm hoping for bolt action .308 or .223 (leaning towards .30. My search so far has landed me to the Savage 16 FHSS. I just wanted to get people's opinion on that path. I'd like to keep the price around $650 so I can add on some decent glass later.

SAI M1A Loaded

Already on backorder.

I'd really like a SCAR 17, but I don't have that kind of money at this time.

I bought a lever action .357 a few weeks back. Now I'm thinking maybe of getting a bolt action in .308 or 30-06. Lately all I see on the shelves is 30-06 ammo so that may help me make my decision on calibers.

Me too! Just not sure what to get exactly. Saw a well used Winchester 250, but not sure I like the hamerless design?
