Left handed rifles?
I am not left handed but I have zero vision in my right eye so this brings up an odd situation. With a pistol I can shoot righty no problem (isosceles and aim with left eye) but with rifles I have a bit of an issue.
I am super new to guns. I want an AR, mossy 500, and remington 700 eventually. Do any of these have a left handed option?

Very limited, but the 700 Remingtons are available in a left handed bolt. I have a 700LH in 30.06.
I am cross eye dominate and shoot as you do. Pistols right handed, but shotguns and rifles left handed. My AR15's are all right handed models, but as long as it's not an old original AR minus the shell deflector I have no problem, you just train yourself to manipulate the controls a little diferently. Plus there are ambidextrous controls available, but I have never felt a need for them.
On my 870 shotgun I replaced the trigger group with a left handed one so the safety is left handed, I did the same on my Benelli M1 Super 90. Honestly, I don't even notice the hulls flying past my nose. All my other shotguns are O/U with tang mounted safeties so they are a non issue.
Good luck.

None of my rifles are for left handed shooters. I am really strange in that I am left eyed, right handed and left footed. I learned to shoot rifle left handed on a normal rifle. Some years ago I had a strange occurance at a local gun range. I had done some minor ramp work on a friend of mines FAL and was out testing it. After a course of fire I had stepped back from the line and was having a cigeratte contemplating what it was doing. This guy comes over from out of the blue asking me "Doesn't that bother you?". I am clueless what this guy is talking about because it is natural for me. So I ask him "Doesn't what bother me?, He says "the empty shells flying past your nose?". I told him honestly I notice it just enough to know that either the weapon is clear, or I have a jam. Odds are if I have a problem I will notice faster than you would. So there is an advantage to the way I shoot. The other cool thing is that a friend of mine runs one of the local boy scout camp rifle ranges during the summer. As a result of he and I shooting together on more than a few occasions he has been able to better spot left eyed, right handed shooters such as myself. Then he can show them how I use the bolt which allows them to shoot better. He has had several people ask him where he learned that from and he always tells them about his friend. Even when I can't get up to the camp to help I am still helping. I love it. So I guess that what I am saying is that you don't need to worry to much about left handed weapons as learning how to use what you can get. I no longer even look at left handed weapons. I will buy what I like and I can hit with it pretty quickly and effeciently. I hope that this helps and has given you not only some food for thought, but some perspective as well. I think that the only weapon I would want as a lefty model would be a bull pup. I would tend to object to the spent casings be shot in my ear, but that is just me. Have a good day and enjoy your shooting.

I didn't know that option existed.
Nice to know.

me either! I wish I'd known about it sooner. I've been using a Remington 1100 with a right-handed safety for over a decade now by crooking my middle finger under the trigger guard to disengage the safety. But I think this would be much easier:
Fortmann's Left Hand Safety Conversion Remington 552 740 760 870 1100
Gonna have to order me one of these and get it installed before deer season!

Hey, those are even better, especially for $15. When I did mine I ordered an entire left handed trigger group, don't remember what it cost, but it wasn't $15. Thanks for the link.

I shoot left handed, but use right handed rifles. I just got used to it.

I shoot shotguns, handguns, ARs, lever guns and most other semi-autos without trouble, but bolt guns are just a PITA for me to run efficiently unless they are left-handed. I can use right hand bolt rifles, but I'd rather pay the extra $ for a left hand version. YMMV.

Stag offers a left handed AR. My Mossberg 500A is a "rightly" but it seems to be easier to use the trigger finger of my left hand to cycle the pump vs a right thumb. Some weapons (for me) are made right but easier for me to use left (1911).
As for bolt action rifle I picked me up a Savage 270 left hand bolt.
