Cool New Beretta!!!

Picked up a CX4 Storm 9mm the other day. Wanted a carbine that the family could shoot at the range. It's a sweet little car IMO, will eat up a bull at 50yds. which is as far as I've shot it so far. Might stretch it out further next range trip. It was just so darn hot today to play to long.

Thought about picking up an AR 9mm but went this route, so far no regrets.
What you guys think?

My Hi-Point is uglier, and that's saying something.

Congrats on the Beretta CX4, I have had mine for about 6 years now. Its a great little plinker. Just remember to cock the hammer back and send the bolt home prior to dissasembly. If you do it wrong, you can break the buffer. Sierra papa now makes a nice one, as well as after market metal trigger components for it.

Just curious, is it a PX4, 92, or 8000 series 9mm. Mine is a 40, started as a 96, converted it to take PX4 mags after I picked up a PX4 since they were high capacity than my 96.

There is one of these for sale or trade except in 40cal on a local forum here. I like the look myself! Thought about working on a trade for it but have never seen one before.
Congrats on new purchase!

Thanks guys. It's just something a litle different & the whole family can shoot at the range. My two boys love it!

Spool my came w/the 92 series 15rd. mags. It came w/two & the LGS threw in a third. I believe the PX4 mags will work also from what I've read.

PX4 takes a different mag well and mag ejector. @ $42 in parts and 10 minutes to swap, but they are different animals. Still congrats, as you know its a great little piece. Mine has been so reliable, I would not hesitate to have the old lady carry it if something were to happen. Back when I lived in an apartment, I kept it loaded over the 12G due to capacity, how small and compact it is, reliability, and lower odds of it passing thru a few walls into neighboring units. Mine is a 40, but its good to go.

Here is a youtube vid from last year when I took my daughters best friends dad out shooting at a local indoor range. He was also impressed by the CX4.

Thanks for the vid! I think I'll just stick w/the 92 series mags for now.

I like a Pistol Caliber Carbine over a shotgun for home defense, just because I may someday want to hear people talking again.

My wife is deaf, so losing my hearing isn't the worst of my worries (not that I want to lose my hearing, mind you).

I've wanted a 9mm carbine for a while now, but haven't been overly impressed with the selection available in the market. I may end up going with the Thureon Defense glock mag version (I recently bought a few 33-rounders at a good price, despite not yet owning a glock), but was heavily considering the CX4 Storm.

Just have to see what's available when I finally get the cash together.
