cleaning up older gun
I hope this is the right forum to post this in...
I have a 1960s Marlin 80g .22 rifle my grandpa gave me several years back and it is rusint on the barrel and reciever. I was going to send it to a guy who I'm sure some of you know of who works on XDs and Shields but the parts are too long for his machine, so he can't work on it... which really sucks becuase he seems to do really awesome work, and his prices were pretty awesome as well. Anyway, I know the rifle isn't worth a whole lot, but it means something to me and I would like to get it cleaned up so that it will last for a long time. Do any of y'all have a 'guy' or a place you would recommend sending it to that would not be too expensive?
