New Ruger 10/22 Takedown Rifle
Has anyone seen or heard about this new rifle from Ruger? I heard rumors about it at the Shot Show but it looks like Ruger finally released it this morning. Pretty sweet rifle that will fit with ease in your bugout bag.

I like it but it does seem like it might be a little on the expensive side considering it only breaks down. I hope you get the bag at least for that price.

Pretty cool, and ABOUT TIME.
I ride motorcycles, its pretty difficult to tote a full length rifle to the range. A takedown would be ideal.
The only problem is its Ruger....they told everyone recently that they were going to stop taking orders this year, because they can't fill them all. So it might be some time before we actually get to enjoy one.

MSRP is $90 option over the SS Carbine, kinda wonder what price they are going to hit the shelfs at. That being said I would like to have one I have a thing for take-downs.

Im in for one. First its a 22lr which like the ammo for said caliber you can never own enough of. Second, its a Ruger, yeah there busy, for a reason, Im sure these will be out before fall, Im not sweating it. Even if not, Ive waited 12 weeks for a tent, 14 months for a 1911, so if the wait is a little longer than usual, so be it, not like its the only firearm I own.

We just got our first shipment of these in about an hour ago. They are sweet and feel nice and solid! Even the bag seems well made and is large enough to hold a bunch of mags and a bit of "bug-out" gear without being too bulky!
If my husband doesn't shoot me, I may have to buy one from myself to keep handy!
