If my husband doesn't shoot me, I may have to buy one from myself to keep handy!
Could you possibly post a pic?

I'll be your best friend

I have a pretty new 10/22 Carbine that I now have to sell because I'm buying one of these! I talked to my FFL today and he's on vacation but has some coming in and I'm first on the list.

This looks like a sweet little gun! Once I buy my new car I may have to sell my current 10 22 and get me one of these!

Was able to touch one, and pull it apart at AZ State Expo today. I was skeptical when read about it last week, but was more impressed when actually saw it.

According to an article I read, Ruger received over 1 million orders for the Takedown and isn't taking any new orders right now. I'd say that's a pretty successful launch. Ruger Can’t Meet Demand, Suspends Acceptance of New Orders | The Firearm Blog

I'm glad my FFL got an order in quickly enough to lock some in. I pick mine up next week!

I don't think the article said that there were 1 million orders for the Takedown, just that there were 1 million orders for firearms in general.

I just re-read it and you are correct. I know locally people are having a hard time getting the SR1911.

Looks like a neat ideal, reminds me of the Henry AR-7. I'd have to play with one first before making a purchase.
