I have a pretty new 10/22 Carbine that I now have to sell because I'm buying one of these! I talked to my FFL today and he's on vacation but has some coming in and I'm first on the list.

Was able to touch one, and pull it apart at AZ State Expo today. I was skeptical when read about it last week, but was more impressed when actually saw it.

According to an article I read, Ruger received over 1 million orders for the Takedown and isn't taking any new orders right now. I'd say that's a pretty successful launch. Ruger Can’t Meet Demand, Suspends Acceptance of New Orders | The Firearm Blog
I'm glad my FFL got an order in quickly enough to lock some in. I pick mine up next week!

I just re-read it and you are correct. I know locally people are having a hard time getting the SR1911.
