Picking up a Remington 597
Bought it yesterday, picking it up tonight. Got a good deal at Dick's. Green synthetic stock, 3x9 scope w/ anti-glare attachment, regular barrel. Plan to get a 30round mag for it and later on the bull barrel. Got it for $189.

Good luck with yours. I used to have one when I was younger. Honestly it was the worse rifle I've ever owned, it shot well for the first few hundred rounds but then it would constantly jam, no matter how clean the gun was. 10/22 for life now...

The early ones had issues with the mag spring. They have been fixed. I'll be inheriting a 10/22 in the next few years, so I wanted something different.
