It should be able to. After taking the bolt out from the very end. If nothing else you can look down the barrel and see if there is a difference.

about an hour or two. that pic is just filling the barrel til it squirts out the end then I let it sit until the foam is broken down.

How is the crown. I think as long as you have a good crown and the rifling looks good it should be fairly accurate.

I am having the same problem with mine right now. I ran a couple sopping wet Hoppes #9 patches down the barrel and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then ran a .38 brass brush down a few times and then dry patches, they would start out very dirty and then get cleaner.
Then I repeated the Hoppes, sitting, brush and dry patches. And they keep coming out very dirty and get cleaner. Have repeated this about 5 times now without new results.
