Smile WTB XD40 Weapon mounted light PA
Looking to buy for Christmas for my boyfriend. He saw the one that comes with the tactical package and really liked it: would prefer that one (Insight?)

Surefire's probably out of my budget.

This would strongly depend on his XD size. My personal opinion: if xd40sc buy an insight x2 XML. If a xd40 tactical or xd40 service the very best is streamlight tlr-1! Again my personal opinion but the insight is the only light that will fit the xd40sc and the tlr-1 is the best bang for the buck light there is! Both the xml and the tlr1 can be easily found under $100.

get him the insight X2 or X2 laser. It fits the 4" barreled XDs perfectly. I love mine.

The 4" is the service model, if it is a .40 caliber. Look at e-bay for the light or even gun broker.

The 4" compact is a .45acp.

It is outstanding! I took it out in my backyard to play with it and I can light up the tallest pine trees I have.
Then I shined it in my eyes accidentally. Man it's bright! Very good disorienting effect!

i have an led wave z5 light as posted for sale here. id let it go for 60 bucks with fresh batteries.
