Nikon M-308 delayed?
Hi all,
I am searching for a new scope, and was wondering if anyone on here has the new Nikon M-308 yet? I am not sure but it seems like its delayed in production for some reason?

Last I heard this scope will be in stores mid-Sept.
I'm hoping like a lot of folks this is true.
I've had a few Nikon buddies putting the few few scopes we have through their paces and all I'm hearing are raves! I can't wait!
It'll be out in a BDC and Rapid Action Turret to 800 yards!
My buddies have used it to 500 thus far and were impressed.
I have a pic of it on a AR-10, pretty awesome!
Can't post pics yet, just need another post or 2.

Does that mean you have the pre-production M-308 on your AR-10 or just have an M-223 model?
I hope it is true that they will be out soon.... I was really close to plunking down some serious cash at the gun show today on a zeiss scope.

I just checked last week and I was told they are still on schedule for delivery in 2 weeks. For everyone that I have told that, I sure hope so!

From what i can tell, optics planet has them now and midway says they will have them in another week.
$519-529 both places.

Opticsplanet is tricky...they have had the scope on the website for months since Nikon announced it, I think. If you click "check availability" under the price shown it says 4-6 weeks. This may be the case if they have been accepting backorders for months now....

You are correct, i didn't see the check availability button.
You can have midway and natches notify you when they are in stock.

Hey bman.... any word.... available yet??
Opticsplanet did have a change a couple weeks ago to "available" date but it was now 25-30 days as I recall. Currently though they are back to showing 4-6 weeks again.

Last I heard they were here last week and being shipped out to distribution sites and to retailer's with in 2 weeks. Unfortunately I don't have anyone who has laid eye's on the shipment so I am not gonna believe it till I see one. I have heard of more dealer's taking orders now so hopefully the unicorn has landed! Wish I could be more specifiv!
