Looking for an <100$ magnifier + mount for red dot.
Hi all.
I've got a Vortex strikefire set up on the AR right now, and it's good enough for closer shots, but reaching farther out gets harder with bad vision even with the 2x magnifier.
I'm looking for a more powerful magnifier for farther out shots, with some kind of removable or swing aside mount.
The rifle is just a range toy, and a budget build at that, so the higher end stuff is out of my league. I'd love to have lots of high quality optics, but my finances will not allow that.
I'm looking for the highest magnification I can get while maintaining acceptable optical quality. The budget for this is 100$ firm, it's all I've got set aside without dipping into other funds.
Anyone have recommendations? I'm not adverse to used or refurbished stuff if it's got a good name/good warranty behind it.

Might check out primaryarms.com too. I have got a few different things from them and they always ship fast. The last red dot I got there was pretty quality for the price paid.

i got my flip to side from longhorn tactical for like 60 bucks its a clone of the aimpoint flip to side.

I am looking to get a 3x magnifier with the swing to side mount for my strikefire as well.
I did get an email from Gander mountain and saw this deal... For the "range toy"

I feel like it's a stupid question, but what kind of range will a 3x magnifier assist with? With the 2x I can see a 6" target comfortably out to around 30 yards.
I'm looking for something that would help me out to around 500ft. At distances like that I'm looking for something that would let me see a silhouette target comfortably.
