There are probably 1000 choices you need to narrow it down a bit.
Why don't you go on some of the online places like midway, natches or optics planet and do some research.

picked up what i thought was a BSA sweet 22 today. got a set of rings all from dick's sporting goods. i must have asked the guy 10 times this will this fit on my ruger 10/22 each time he said yes. well the rights are not high enough to clear the rear fold down sight. I admit I was a bit aggravated about that. then noticed the scope was a not what I asked for. its the model sweet 17. needless to say I am not happy at all

In scopes, you get what you pay for, even for a 22lr. A low end Leup VXI 3x9 would be a good choice, but more than $100.

I got an NcStar scope (too tired to go downstairs and get the model). It was about $40 and I wouldn't expect it to hold up to anything more than .22lr but for that it works really well. It seems to hold 0 well and at 100 yds the ammo and the shooter seems to be more the source of variation than the scope. I'd like to get some real optics some day...
Edit: I forgot to mention I'm putting it on and off a M&P 15-22 fairly often and haven't had to re-zero it

Mine came with a 2-9 power scope from Cabela's. It's zeroed at 50 yards and I compensate for 100 yards. It would be interesting to know who made it for them because it's really a nice scope. There was a guy at the range that had a Nikon scope on his rifle and asked to look through mine. He was really surprised, he said it was as sharp and as bright as his Nikon. It has Cabela's name on it but the salesman said they put out their specs and ask for bids every year, so the guys in the store never know who made the scope that year. I thought I got a hell of a deal though, the rifle with the wood stock and the scope was $279.00
