Any true 'Gun-Nut' weeps openly when he holds a DSA FAL. I would sell my left nut for one of those.

T'heck with the pistons.

Roller locking is the way to go.

HK91/PTR91. Mags are cheap and plentiful (less than $5/mag). And, it's .308.

FWIW, it sounds like the HK416 will be available to us civvies sometime in the near future. Or, just get one of the POF uppers if you can't wait.

Yep. They're cheaper to make.

Doesn't necessarily make it better.

BTW--MP-5, still going strong.

MP-5 is just a blow back...CETMEand its copies the HK91/93/G3 are gas oped/blow back, works great till the rollers take a poop or the throat erodes too much, good gun though. FAL/STG-58s, 'the Free Worlds Right Arm' better rifle, less quirky, a bit heavy, loads of fun....I have 2 of them, one metric and one inch pattern...

Huh. Guess the rollers on the side of MP-5 bolt are just for decoration...

Actually, your MP-5 works like the CZ-52 pistol.....the daddy to the roller lock up system.
