For Oregon this is correct. In the CCW class we were specifically told it is not lawful to carry into a federal building including ie...court houses and post offices. Banks are not federal buildings and it is lawful to carry there. Schools and bars are also not illegal unless you are told to leave, in which case you could only be ticketed for trespassing if you chose not to leave.

My Post Office has a no-guns sign. It is not the usual no-guns sticker, but a USPS publication poster, and it has a US Federal Code cited at the bottom.
I will have to look at it closer next time. Banks are fair game, as long as not posted here in Ohio. |

That ban on guns at the Post Office has really been successful at stopping violence, hasn't it?

No, it's completely illegal to carry in a post office.
Banks are dependent on their choice and the State's choice. Quote:
