Glock mag prices...up up and away!

Is it just me or have Glock mag prices gone through the roof lately? I went and looked the first time today in a few months and most places I looked, whether in person or online cost anywhere from $26-30. The last Glock mag I bought was about 6 months ago and cost $15 and I though $20 was expensive then. What is the deal?

Glock is taking advantage of the people that are freaking out about the possible "BAN" High cap magazines are hot sellers right now.

They announced earlier in the year they were going to be doing a 40 percent price hike on all their mags. It's showing now. CDNN investments still has pretty good pricing on theirs.

GLOCK hasn't raised their mag prices in years. They raised the mag prices instead of the pistol price

How many magazines do you guys buy? Generally curiosity, sorry to go off topic. Do you buy a lot for competition?

The only guns I bought spare mags for were the ones that came with the 10 rounders.

I usually try to get 6-10 mags for each handgun I have. I have 3 now as I have been slacking and buying things for other guns. Guess that was a mistake. $30 is ridiculous. I have looked at CDNN and all they have are 10 rounders. I'll let the people who live in commie states have those.

I just get them as I can. The minimum I set in my head was 6 mags per handgun and 10 ar mags, and I'm working my way towards 10 AK mags.

Right now I've got 6 REGULAR capacity G17 mags and one 33 rounder.

5 XD mags (gave one to my dad)

7 1911 mags, 4 Wilson Combat 47Ds, 2 Wilson Combat 47s, and one Kimber 7 round mag.

21 AR mags, 19 USGI mags and one 30 round PMAG and one 20 round PMAG

6 AK mags, 5 Bulgarian 30 rounder and one 75 round chinese drum.
